I live in Nantes, but the Haras de Florys is situated in the commune of Saint-Dolay, exactly halfway between this town and the pretty little town of La Roche-Bernard, the Lesvesque estate for several generations, in the Southern Morbihan, on the borders of the Loire-Atlantique and of llle et Vilaine (between Nantes and Vannes), on a family property dating from the 16th century: La Bernardière.
This property, comprised of a manor house, an L-shaped longère, a former bakery, several stone outbuildings, all in the granite stone of Brittany, and 150 hectares of land, woodland and lakes, has belonged to my family on my father’s side since 1700.
